The Staff and services at the IHotel were superb! Chase provided unbelieveable service. It beat any service I have ever had, including stays at the Ritz Carlton. He is an amazing young man. Katy, Pamela and Prudence also provided amazing service! We really appreciated the rides to and from the union as we were not comfortable driving in the snow.

This is my third visit to the I Hotel and I still think it is the best in the area – and quite good even when compared to Chicago hotels. Especially excellent are the following: the bed and bedding, the leather furnishings (chair, writing, etc), the whole-wall drape, and the ability to control the HVAC. Nice touches include: the books available in the room, the granite counters, high-quality soaps, and a nice robe.

Great place to stay! Friendly staff – Jenn was great when I was having trouble making my reservation online and pretty much walked me through the process. Upon arrival, I had a 1 hour massage with Janet and it was probably the best one I have ever had – EVER. Bar none! Thanks for making my one night stay at your luxurious hotel one of the best ever. Loved it.

This event was even better than I thought it could be. The entire staff at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. Emily and Peter took great care of us during the event and Rob and his staff served the marvelous food and our cake. I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. You made a very special event for me even better by giving the outstanding service that was promised. Thank you for everything!

I was so impressed when I walked into our meeting room yesterday, it was beautiful! The floral centerpiece on the buffet table was exquisite. Katy was a very gracious hostess, as was the entire staff. At least 4 staff members stopped by to ask if I needed assistance. We had a wonderful time at your facility yesterday. Some of my teachers didn’t want to leave when it was time to go! We’ll be back soon. Thanks so much for the great service.

This was my first time helping host a conference. If I could give the staff a grade of 1-5 it would be a 10. They met my every last minute request with a smile and a can do attitude. Even though I had strange last minute request they still managed to take care of my needs. Food was wonderful EVERY day and the vegetarian needs were wonderfully met! Thanks to all my hat is off to you and a job well done. I look forward to hosting other conferences at your location.

Just as my first visit, I enjoyed my short stay with you. It is very clean and has a peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed finishing a book at the resturant while I dined. Thank you so much for making a “nervous” experience more
relaxing and enjoyable. I was a presenter at the conference last week
end and was apprehensive about my Power Pt. presentation due to the video
and audio clips that were embedded in the slide show. Nigel took the
time to test my presentation and saved it on your laptop the night
before. I was so relieved that it was successful that I was able to get
a good night’s sleep in your comfortable bed! The front desk was also
very helpful in making breakfast accommodations for us the next morning.
All the staff members we came in contact with were extremely helpful and
made our stay more relaxed and enjoyable.

Guest’s Reason of Visit: Conference Center Event, Downstate Nonprofit Conference
Last week I stayed at the I Hotel for 2 1/2 days, during the Downstate Nonprofit Conference, so I had plenty of time to experience all aspects of your hotel. My room was clean and comfortable; the meeting facilities were perfectly arranged for what we needed to do and the food was outstanding (especially the mushroom soup — do you share the recipe?).
But what impressed me most of all was your staff. They found me a power cord when I discovered I had packed my laptop without one, pointed me to great local restaurants and shuttled me around and were all-around friendly and helpful in countless ways. Such high levels of service and consistency do not happen by accident, so this note is a compliment not only to them, but to you for putting together and supporting such a great team.

Guest’s Reason of Visit: Wedding
My husband and I thought the iHotel was GREAT! I was so exhausted after being in the wedding on Saturday and when we got back to the room, the temperature of the room was perfect, the shower (& Rusk toiletries) was great, and the bed was so comfortable that I probably could have slept in until Noon the following morning.
On Sunday, we had to travel to my parent’s house, which is 1 & ½ hours away, to pick up my son, so we just wanted to grab something quick for breakfast. Then, I remembered that we had the free pastry/coffee card for Starbucks. That was a FANTASTIC amenity that we really enjoyed.
We will definitely stay at the iHotel if we ever need accommodations in Champaign again. I will also make sure to pass along my experience to potential faculty candidates who are staying in the area.

Guest Comment:”We are writing to express our content with our recent stay at the I Hotel and Conference Center. We stayed at your hotel Friday October 11 through Sunday October 13. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was excellent. The room was well appointed and extremely clean.
On Saturday morning, our shower was broken. I called down to the front desk and within 3 minutes Abe Jones was at our door. He looked at the problem, realized he would need maintenance, and told us it would take 20 minutes to fix. We went and walked around for 20 minutes and when we came back to the room the shower was fixed. Abe had brought us coffee and a gift basket for our trouble. Not only was Abe extremely courteous but the maintenance man was very courteous as well.
The rest of our stay was great. Again, every employee was friendly and courteous and the hotel was clean and well organized. We are the first to express disappointment when we receive poor customer service but are also diligent about reporting excellent customer service. We will definitely stay at your hotel again and will recommend our colleagues and friends to do the same.”

The event was the best it had ever been in its 29 years of existence. Recruiters and students alike had a fantastic experience. Your professionalism, customer service attitude, and long hours made it easy to do my job. Your hard work made us look good.
Also, many thanks to the catering staff. The food and drink were outstanding. Recruiters enjoyed the opportunity to sit down to a nice lunch instead of a standard box lunch that is so often served at career fairs. Additionally, I appreciate your flexibility in meeting our needs for the happy hour. The decision to add the happy hour to our event was made just a couple weeks ago. Your accommodation of our last minute request is appreciated.”
